After booking and seeing the reviews of this hotel I was honestly a little worried. Solo parent with children, this hotel felt safe, very convenient across the street from the mall (less than 10 minute walk, majority your just waiting to cross the busy street). Room was clean, definitely showing its age but not terrible. Room walls are thin and could hear our neighbors. Free breakfast isn't much, just bread, make your own waffles, yogurt and 2 kinds of cereal. Overall it did it's purpose of a clean, safe, stay near West Edmonton mall.
Excellent service. Paramjit was extremely helpful , she was super easy to deal with and made our stay very lovely . She was also very knowledgeable and knew everything about all the attractions. 10/10 for customer service
Extremely pleased with the experience at West Edmonton Mall Inn! Conviently located directly across from West Edmonton mall; it's close enough you would be able to walk over easily. Rooms were clean and fairly nice for the cost. The innkeeper at the front desk was amazing and super kind. Overall a pretty solid place, especially for value seeking travellers.
Great location being close to the mall but a very rough sleep. Lots of sirens all night, loud busses and drunks from Bourbon Street stumbling around. Also approached in the parking lot by a woman trying to scam us. I know they can't control this but some security or complimentary access to their parkade would be nice especially with guests that have young kids/women. We stayed here because of their stay and play deal for the water park. The front desk staff was great, and management was quick to help and also great. We found hair in our bed (always checking bedding at hotels), moved to another room, hair in the bed, moved to another room, stain on the blanket. It was late so I asked for some new bedding and I would just remake the beds in our one room so we could sleep. If the customer service wasn't as good as it was, this would have been a 1 star. Sorry guys!

It’s heartwarming to see that there are still such good humans out there, even 4,000 km away from home. Thanks to her, we felt right at home. The hotel is a bit dated and could use some refreshing, and the walls are quite thin, so noise can be an issue. That said, the staff are excellent, and the location—right across from West Edmonton Mall—is incredibly convenient. Great value overall, especially with the discount on mall attraction passes. I would definitely stay here again!
The hotel was nice and clean. Staff were all pleasant. Breakfast was great except one day when the water was out due to an external issue. So close to the mall I couldn't justify spending to stay at Fantasyland. Affordable option for budget travelers.
We enjoyed our stay, the room was fresh and clean, the breakfast was ok but could use a few more non carbohydrate options. For a super busy place we had quick and efficient service. When we called the front office about the extremely loud party above us preventing our kids from sleeping they were in top of it!! We would definitely stay again.
